A hidden language exists in human interaction, spoken not through words alone but through the delicate distinction of effective communication. It is a language that transcends barriers, moulding connections that unite us in understanding and empathy.
The secrets of active listening, where the art of truly listening to another person’s thoughts and emotions, opens doors to deeper connections. Creating a space for others to be heard and understood through genuine attentiveness.
Listening to others and paying close attention to what is said is essential. Have you ever been in a conversation where people rush to talk, and you are interrupted while speaking? I used to take it personally and describe it as an act of being disrespectful and inappropriate towards me, but I also understand that people have all kinds of wounds, and so do I. We all are still learning; the key is never to stop improving ourselves daily, to take notes and consciously be aware of our behaviour towards others.
I like to listen to people because most of us have never experienced what is being heard by others. For many people, that’s all someone may need: someone who genuinely listens and connects with them on a deeper emotional understanding. Even if I disagree with their self-expression, I cannot judge and disrespect their opinions, thoughts and points of view since their journey, path, or lesson may be different than mine, which is the beauty of everything: being able to listen without the need to push our own beliefs and point of view to others, or to make them change their point of view for our reality, they maybe need to be in that position, they maybe need to learn something, or perhaps I’m the one who has to learn from them. I’m willing to offer advice or my point of view if requested, or I can be a great and perfect listener.
There is a way of listening and talking without the need for words. It is one of the most beautiful human arts, understanding someone by looking at them, looking deep into their eyes, or hearing their silence. You can also feel their energy and listen to their true self through your mind and body.
We talk and listen on an energetic level to thoughts and feelings.
